ABOUT JEN
Hi, I'm Jen!
I'm a wife, a mother to 2 incredible boys, and I'm a Realtor in Waterloo Region. I love living and working here - it is so full of life and culture! After my family and my job, the one thing I'm passionate about is helping others and giving back in any way I can. My brokerage, RE/MAX Solid Gold feels the same way and is the official sponsor of Oktoberfest and the "Women of the Year" Entrepreneur Award. I am so proud to have the opportunities to enrich my community, and to help you find your dream home!
My Why
When it comes to buying, or selling a home, I have a strong belief that the right place will come to you in the right time. I love that moment when I can see in my client's eyes that they've found their new home. I love making that call to my sellers telling them their house has SOLD! It's exhilarating... and stressful all at the same time.
How did I get into real estate?
I’m a big believer in the universe guiding you along the path you’re supposed to take – so I would say real estate chose me. After finishing two degrees at Wilfrid Laurier University – and after years of working at a restaurant to fund my education – I knew I wanted to work with people and in sales, so real estate was a natural step.
There are days I can’t believe I've been on this journey for over a decade. I have been so lucky to have incredible clients, have had a lot of success for my clients, and I have so many huge goals to keep pushing me.
My Accomplishments
I'm really not one to toot my own horn, but I think we always needs those awards and degrees to create validity of our success. So here it is:
-
Waterloo Region Record Readers' Choice Platinum Winner for Real Estate Marketing in 2022
-
Re/Max Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021
-
Top 30 under 30 in Sales for Re/Max
-
Top 30 Women under 30 in Sales for Re/Max
-
Platinum Award for Sales with Re/Max years running
-
#1 Sales Representative at Re/Max Real Estate Centre Kitchener
-
Re/Max Hall of Fame
-
Honours Communications Degree and Honours Global Studies Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University
However, the really accomplishments I'm most proud of didn’t come with plaques or awards.
I have had tremendous success for my clients. I have shown them how to create the best marketing strategy for their homes, and then negotiated every penny that I could for them.
You see – the thing I never forget every single day of this business is that a house sale can carry my clients into their future, their retirement, and potentially set up their kids. I do this in an honest and trustworthy way. That part doesn’t need a plaque, but it is what means the most to me – and feeds my passion.
My Mission
To be kind, honest and create good energy in a competitive business. To share the passion I have of real estate with my clients and to ensure they make the best financial decisions for their family's future.
My Passion
1. When someone walks in and finally find the home that is theirs – and all the stress of saving, potentially losing other houses in offers, and anxiousness goes away, and they feel like they are home.
2. When I call someone and tell them their house is SOLD. Honestly it’s the best phone call ever – and I look forward to it every time. It’s like a huge sigh of relief, and the final checkmark for a huge new move in life.
